Warez Submission Standards

For Submitters

Basic Submission Rules

1. Backlinks, if required, must be nofollow and remain intact between submissions.
2. Each entry must link directly to the download page associated with it.
3. All submitted pages must contain HTTP or FTP links for the specified download.
4. Do not alter submissions after being submitted.
5. Do not submit direct links to files.
6. Do not submit demo, shareware or freeware content.
7. Do not use frame-breaking javascript in your submitted pages.
8. All submissions must be guest-viewable.
9. If a password is required, it must be clearly visible.
10. Do not resubmit downloads which already exist in the DDL being submitted to.
11. Do not use link hiding/protecting websites.

Guidelines (Optional unless stated otherwise by DDL)

1. Do not use popups on your submitted pages.
2. No more than 6 DDL buttons are allowed.
3. No more than 15 DDL text links are allowed.
4. Submit no more than 40 downloads per day.
5. No more than 3 banner advertisements are allowed.
6. Do not display fake links.

Filehost Guidelines

1. Recommended Primary Hosts: RapidShare, HotFile, MegaUpload, MediaFire.
2. Low quality money-maker filehosts are not recommended as primary hosts.
3. All other hosts are allowed unless specified otherwise by the DDL site.
4. If possible, provide at least one mirror.

Extra Filehost Restrictions (Optionally implemented, see DDL site)

Some DDL sites may implement these restrictions, see their submit page to check.

1. Use at least one primary host
2. Primary Filehosts: Rapidshare, Hotfile, Megaupload, MediaFire
3. Secondary Hosts: Any respectable filehost which can be used with ease
